Our Lawn Fertilization & Weed Control Program

We offer full service lawn fertilization and weed control but we do things a bit differently than most companies. We are not a fan of blanket spraying unnecessary chemicals onto your lawn.

Instead we spot treat weeds using a 4 gallon backpack sprayer that has a blue die in it so that we know and you know that a specific area of weeds were spot treated. Don't worry this blue die is only temporary and will wash out.

Each year in the Spring and Fall we will blanket spray a preemergent to prevent many weeds from germinating in your lawn. The harder to control weeds that make it through this application will be spot treated or even sometimes pulled.

Our fertilization and weed control program consists of 8 applications per year. If you sign up for our services you will start service where we are on the program calendar.

We have additional services such as fungicide prevention spray to prevent lawn disease and grub prevention and control. These services are not part of our standard fertilization and weed control program and must be added if you wish to have these extra services.

This treatment will consist of a soil test to ensure the proper nutrients of your individual lawn program. We will also spot spray a post-emergent herbicide to kill off any winter weeds and weeds that have gotten an early start.

This treatment will consist of a preemergent application to prevent weeds from germinating in your lawn depending on temperatures. This is your crabgrass, dallisgrass, clover, dandelions just to name a few. This is a very important step in any fertilization and weed control program to ensure the health of your lawn.

We will also spot spray a post-emergent herbicide to kill off any winter weeds still standing and weeds that have gotten an early start.

A fertilizer to get your grass started for the season as well as to promote your grass health.

We will also spot spray a post-emergent herbicide to kill off any winter weeds and weeds that have gotten an early start. A high in nitrogen fertilizer to promote that green healthy thick lawn.

This treatment is going to consist of a post-emergent spot spray herbicide to kill off any weeds that have popped up in your lawn. A fertilizer to feed your grass and give it that dark green look.

We will also be applying fungicides to prevent any grassy diseases from happening. Not all customers will receive this added treatment. If you are on our standard plan and want to include this treatment please contact your local representative.

This treatment is going to consist of a post-emergent herbicide to kill off any weeds.

It is also time to start thinking about grub prevention. If you are part of our premium package you will receive this prevention treatment as part of your plan. If you are on our standard fertilization and weed control plan you will need to contact your local representative to have this added to your plan.

A slow release low nitrogen fertilizer to feed your grass and give it that dark green look.
